Alliance Leader and local MLA David Ford has condemned those who shot at a house in the Caulside Park area of Antrim at around 11.10pm last night.

David Ford said: "This was a despicable incident and it's only by good fortune that the two people at the house were not injured.

"These individuals are simply thugs who don't care about putting people at risk with their sickening actions.

"This would have been a terrible ordeal for these people and anyone in the area at the time who saw anything should contact police immediately. The people of Antrim will want those involved to be taken off the streets as soon as possible."
