Ford says justice deal is still possible12.00.00pm GMT Wed 27th Jan 2010 Following the departure of the Taoiseach and Prime Minister from Hillsborough, Alliance Leader David Ford has said a deal is still possible. David Ford said; "A deal is still possible and we now need a calm and responsible approach from all parties to take the process the final mile. "We are too close to a successful resolution to this matter for negative elements to derail the progress made to date. "Alliance will continue to play a positive and constructive role, and we implore others to do the same at this critical time. "People need to realise the consequences of failure and must understand the need for urgent progress. "I would also like to express our gratitude to the Taoiseach and Prime Minister for clearing their schedules to take part in the talks - their role has been an extremely positive one."
