Alliance Leader and local MLA David Ford has welcomed news that Crumlin based bio-tech company Randox is creating 23 new jobs.

David Ford said: "This is good news for the South Antrim area and is testament to the excellent work carried out at Randox. They are a forward-thinking company which provides a blueprint for excellence in their field.

"These new jobs will provide a significant boost for the local economy, with extra money coming into the area and potentially being spent in local businesses.

"These are the type of high skill, high value jobs that the Northern Ireland economy needs to regenerate following the recent tough economic times we have faced."
