Ford welcomes Mallusk company investment

4.00.00pm GMT Tue 12th Jan 2010

Alliance Leader David Ford has welcomed news of major investment at Henderson Foodservice, which he says will cement employment and strengthen the company and its base in Mallusk. The organisation is investing approximately £14m on new warehousing and office space at their site in Hightown Avenue in Mallusk

Assembly Member for the area, David Ford, said: "This is a significant investment for the Mallusk area. This will strengthen the company and hopefully lead to further growth both financially and from an employment perspective in the longer term.

"This investment is very sensible and is particularly welcome given that we need to see all companies here preparing for the future at this time of recession."
