These incidents underline the need for a working government at Stormont and a united approach from all politicians to tackle this threat.

Alliance Leader David Ford has expressed disgust at three overnight attacks in Londonderry which the Real IRA claim to have committed. David Ford said that these attacks underline the need for Stormont to deliver and for all politicians to maintain a united stance against terrorism.

David Ford said: "The fact that the Real IRA has claimed responsibility for these attacks is deeply sinister. These incidents underline the need for a working government at Stormont and a united approach from all politicians to tackle this threat.

"Politicians from all parties must stand shoulder to shoulder to face down this threat and end terrorism in Northern Ireland for good.

"These people are cowards who have absolutely nothing to offer except fear and hate. I would call on anyone with information on these or other attacks to contact police immediately."
