Ford thanks Translink for quick response on Antrim ticket service12.53.00am GMT Wed 10th Sep 2008 Alliance Leader David Ford has thanked Translink for quickly addressing a ticketing problem at Antrim train station. He has asked Translink to address the issue of a customer not being able to use their credit/debit card to buy tickets. David Ford said: "I am very pleased that a credit/debit card machine was been installed at Antrim train station and am also pleased that Translink staff are being trained about how to use it. It will help people to purchase tickets more easily and will encourage more people to use public transport. "A local passenger contacted me saying that they could not use their debit card at the station and I am glad that Translink have acted quickly to ensure that the machine can be used to purchase tickets with. "All that can be done should be done to get people to get out of their cars and use public transport. Every person can play their part in protecting the environment and I would encourage people to think about what they can do to make a difference."
